Capture decisions, not just files
Saving the final deck is not enough. Teams also need the reasoning behind:
- why the structure worked
- what objections the story handled
- which proof points landed best
- what had to be cut
Store context close to the work
The best internal knowledge bases are easy to scan and directly connected to the assets teams reuse.
For every important deck, document:
- target audience
- narrative goal
- approved proof
- visual rules or constraints
- lessons from review
Build compounding knowledge
When teams consistently record these patterns, new projects start with more clarity, fewer experiments, and better first drafts.
